Orange Lake Wins Five ARDY Awards

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – April 3, 2006 - The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) announced that Orange Lake Resort & Country Club won five of the prestigious ARDY awards, the highest honor given out annually for excellence in the vacation resort industry.

Orange Lake ARDY winners were as follows: Rachel Schappacher, Marketing, Operational Support Staff Member; Ann Chandler, Marketing Programs; Chris Blevins, on behalf of the Sales and Marketing Welcome Desk Team, Owner/Customer Relations Manager/Team; Erica Ellrich, Vendor/Supplier/Hospitality Manager (All American Hospitality); and Janis Ferrell, Vendor Staff (TYS Title Services, Inc.).

”We're all very proud of the honorees who help to make our resort the success it is today,” said Don Harrill, Orange Lake President and CEO.

This year's ARDA Awards Gala was held at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas.

ARDA is a non-profit trade association located in Washington, D.C. ARDA represents the interests of more than 1,600 resorts, including vacation timeshare developers, fractional interests as well as timeshare homeowners' associations and individual timeshare owners across the country. ARDA annually honors excellence in the vacation ownership industry. Categories considered for nomination include Resort Design, Advertising, Marketing & Sales, and Management & Administration.
