Official Launch of Sales for New Timeshare Brand,
Holiday Inn Club Vacations™
ORLANDO, Fla. (December 15, 2008) – Orange Lake Resorts, with more than 120,000 owners and over 35,000 club members, and IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG (ADRs)], the world’s largest hotel group by number of rooms, announce today the official launch of sales for their new timeshare brand and club product, Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Sales begin at the flagship Orange Lake Resort 2,478-villa property in Orlando, Florida. ;
The common heritage between Orange Lake and Holiday Inn®—who both share the same founder, Kemmons Wilson—has brought the two brands back together, offering the ultimate vacation experience for club members.
Now through automatic enrollment in the Priority Club® Rewards (PCR) loyalty program with Gold Elite status, new and existing Holiday Inn Club members can reserve stays at IHG’s more than 4,100 hotels in over 120 countries worldwide. They will also enjoy PCR features and benefits, such as Reward Nights with no blackout dates and the ability to redeem points for merchandise and special experiences. Holiday Inn Club members will continue to have access to the Orlando resort, plus Member Resorts in Ascutney, Vermont; Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Panama City, Florida. They will also have access to Resort Condominium International’s (RCI) network of more than 4,000 resorts.
